then decided to specialise in the musculoskeletal field. She has gained valuable experience in hospitals, GP practice and military settings. She also worked with Norwich Rugby Football Club. She recently moved into the private sector working for Premier in private clinics and as an Occupational Health physiotherapist. She has attended a number of postgraduate courses including those for acupuncture which is her particular field of interest. She incorporates this into rehabilitation of acute injuries and more chronic conditions. Alexa is also a keen runner and applies her participation along with her clinical knowledge to the treatment and management of different sports injuries.

began working with the NHS in Oxford before specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients.He has a keen interest in Occupational Health and combines this with an active interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. Having been based in Oxford, he has worked closely with local consultants for many years and ensures that every patient is treated and rehabilitated to ensure treatment goals are achieved. He has completed postgraduate courses in manual therapy, muscle imbalance and muscle energy techniques and has special interests in upper cervical and rib pathologies. His interest in sport has led him to further his knowledge and complete an MSc at Oxford University in ‘Science and Medicine of Athletic Performance’. Ali is keen to apply his experience of sport with his clinical knowledge of sports injuries to help his clients to rehabilitate and return to full function. Ali has been extensively involved in many sports both as a physio and as a competitor. A keen rugby player, Ali has 2 Oxford Blues, has represented England Students and was a part of the Gloucester RFC Premiership Squad in 2007-2008. He has developed interests in accelerated rehabilitation and with his specialist knowledge of high level sport is able to use this knowledge to rehabilitate to a high specialist level.

Ben obtained his Physiotherapy degree in Australia in 1987. He then moved to New Zealand and after spending two years in the hospital, he went on to specialise in the musculoskeletal field and started his own Private Practice.

His extensive work experience includes working with Doctors and Orthopaedic Specialists, industrial clinics, university clinics and sports clubs. He was the Consultant Physiotherapist for the local rugby league club, Marist Northern, before he left NZ. His article on Low Back Pain was published in Patient Management in 1995. Ben’s postgraduate qualifications include Diplomas in McKenzie Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and The McKenzie Institute, UK. His main interests are in evidence-based medicine and applying acupuncture to complement manual therapy.

For three seasons she was the Physiotherapist for Old Dunstonians Rugby Football Club; running weekly clinics for injury management and rehabilitation and attending match day for on the spot treatment and advice. She worked closely alongside the players, coaches and management to ensure optimum rehabilitation for each player. Cat has continued her professional development through study, working alongside specialists in the musculoskeletal field and attending courses. Cat has a specialist interest in rehabilitation and getting clients back to their optimum fitness, particularly to a higher level and back to sport or training.

She is currently completing an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at Bath University. Catherine has been involved extensively in many sports and thus has developed many interests. Her passion for preventative physiotherapy has led her to design an evidence based tennis screening that is used with county players. She has spent time at Roehampton at the Lawn Tennis Association head quarters observing the screening used. Her work with OURFC has increased her enthusiasm for this and she completes pre season screenings that are position and rugby orientated. Her interests also include accelerated recovery and exercise rehabilitation.

She has gained a wealth of experience in areas of sports injuries, post operative orthopaedics, spinal pain and ergonomics. She has had the benefit of working in different industries from banking to production lines and warehouses. Her philosophy is to assess each person in their environment - work, sport and or domestic and aim to get them back to full function as quickly as possible.

Luke has now chosen to specialize in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has rehabilitation skills that cover the sporting elite through to elderly care. He has completed post-graduate courses in Pilates and is currently studying for a masters in orthopaedic medicine. Luke is a keen sportsman who enjoys running, cycling, weight training and surfing. Through his close association there with elite level athletes and specialist consultants, Robert developed a keen interest in functional high level musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. In 2008 Robert moved to London, initially working in both NHS Hospital and GP clinic settings, in addition to private practices in the North London area. Robert has post-graduate qualifications in Manual Therapy techniques and uses these in combination with his extensive knowledge of biomechanical and movement dysfunction in order to design optimal treatment and return to full function rehabilitation programs.

He is currently in his fifth season as part of the Academy Medical Team at Fulham Football Club, as Part-Time Physiotherapist, which has included Physiotherapy cover at international tournament events. He has also gained valuable experience working for Wingate & Finchley Football Club, London Scholars Rugby League Team and a Regional Centre of Excellence, including international tournament cover. Saul is a Level 1 qualified football coach and a keen sportsman, he plays football and tennis in his spare time. He has a particular interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation and in 2009 completed an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy.
